The foundation supports:

  • Projects for the preservation and restoration and of sites that are designated as historical that will be used for the purpose of re-creating or teaching United States history
  • Projects for the restoration and conservation of woodlands
  • Programs in performing and visual arts that are offered to a heterogeneous and general population

The foundation also considers unique educational projects or programs.

Who are eligible for Ambrose & Ida Fredrickson Foundation grant?

Careful consideration is given to:

  • Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation located in West Orange, New Jersey
  • Hartshorne Arboretum located in Short Hills, New Jersey
  • Colonial Williamsburg Foundation located in Williamsburg, Virginia
  • Overlook Hospital located in Summit, New Jersey
  • Susquehanna University located in Pennsylvania

Priority will be given to all other organizations which are located within a 10-mile radius of Millburn Township, New Jersey (Union, Essex and Morris counties) that are aligned with the foundation’s mission.
