Students must have 2.50 GPA or better. American Institute of Wine and Food

The American Institute of Wine and Food or the AIWF is offering scholarship grants to culinary arts students. Students must be enrolled in any accredited college full time. To get the necessary details about the scholarship, applicants must contact at least one of the 27 AIWF chapters. The amount of cash grants that will be awarded depends of the chapter of the AIWF. B.  The Grants for Culinary Schools

Most of the accredited culinary programs typically cost from $2,000 up to $45,000. This is just the average and it can still go higher. With this kind of money needed to attend culinary schools, it is safe to assume that not all can afford the education cost of culinary arts. However, there are grants for culinary schools in which deserving applicants can use to attend any accredited culinary schools or institutions. These grants can be used for the expenses needed in the education such as tuition fees, lodging and stipends.

The Culinary Trust Scholarship and Grant

The Culinary Trust has its scholarship and grant program that gives assistance to deserving applicants. Beginning, continuing as well as specialty education courses in any accredited culinary schools worldwide are part of this program. Culinary Institute of America

The Culinary Institute of America or the CIA is offering scholarship grants to deserving culinary arts students as they pursue career in this field.

  • National Student Organization Scholarships – this scholarship grant is a competitive one in which interested students will compete in a national culinary or pastry arts competition. The competition is sponsored by the SkillsUSA. Winners will be given scholarship grants that they can use in studying in The Culinary Institute Of America. Second and third place winners will be awarded cash scholarship amounting to $3,500 up to $4,000 per school year. Aside from the competition from SkillsUSA, the competition by the Family Career & Community Leaders of America or the FCCLA will award scholarships amounting to $2,500 up to $4,000 per school year. The competition organized by the ProStart will award $1,500 up to $2,500 cash grant per school year to the winner. These competitive scholarships can be renewed yearly provided that the students maintained a GPA of 3.2 or better.
  • Cream of the Crop Scholarship – this scholarship grant is offered to the student with outstanding academic as well as leadership skills. Total of twenty students will receive the scholarship grants amounting to as much as $20,000. This scholarship can be renewed annually provided that the student maintains a GPA of 3.2 or better. Eligible students must have GPA of 3.5 or better.
