Grants for Dog Rescue as well as other Animal Rescue

There are several people, institutions and organizations that are concerned about animal welfare and rights. This includes dog and other animal rescue, shelter, food and many more. Grants for dog rescue and the like are given to non-profit organizations that are putting up efforts in alleviating the suffering of animals all over the country and the world.

Animal Welfare Trust

The Animal Welfare Trust is offering grant programs that will be used in giving assistance to non-profit organizations or those categorise as 501 (c) 3 organizations working for the reduction or removal of animal cruelty and raising of public consciousness in terms of giving the right respect for the animals. The priority areas for the grant program are as follows: welfare of the farm animal, being vegetarian and humane education. The cash grants that will be awarded range from $2,500 up to $20,000; however, higher amount is possible. The grant requests can be made for a period of single or even multi-year. For the 2011 grant cycle, 10 to 15 organizations will be selected. Planet Dog Foundation

The Planet Dog Foundation or the PDF is supporting deserving organizations by offering grant program that is intended to provide financial support to 501 (c) 3 non-profit organizations all over the U.S. The focus of the grant program is to give funding to programs that will provide trainings, place and the support dogs. Funding will be allocated nationwide in order to promote as well as provide financial support to every canine program that are service-oriented such as the search and rescue programs. The grant program will award cash assistance amounting to as high as $7,500. For the fall cycle, 10 grant winners will be awarded.
