What is Hampton Roads Community Foundation?

As the largest community foundation in the Hampton Roads area of Virginia, we manage permanent funds created by people from all walks of life. We invest their gifts to grow over time while awarding grants to nonprofit organizations and scholarships to students. We focus on Chesapeake, Norfolk, Portsmouth, Suffolk and Virginia Beach as well as Franklin and Isle of Wight County. We have affiliate community foundations on the Eastern Shore of Virginia and the Virginia Peninsula.
