What is Albuquerque Community Foundation Grant?

To be a philanthropist you don’t need to have millions. A charitable fund can be created with an amount like $10,000 or $3,300 annually for three years.

Flexibility

A Donor-Advised Fund or Student Aid Fund can be set up. You can also tailor fit your gifts to a specific field or entrust them to the discretion of the foundation in order to meet emergency and emerging needs. A Designated fund can be created to help today’s charity or as a permanent endowment for tomorrow’s needs- or as a combination of these two.

Carry on the memory of someone dear to you

A hundred years from now, deserving students or nonprofits will receiving grants from the fund created in memory of someone you cared for.

Real people will be answering our phone. You’ll see our faces on the website. You’ll meet us at Foundation events. You’ll find that everyone in the office will be available to answer your inquiries.

Our development efforts and grantmaking focus on all segments of the communities.

Credibility

The foundation is familiar with the territory and understands the nonprofit world. It realizes that the best way to serve those organizations is to provide help for them to become more self-sufficient by awarding grants in support of their programs.

Permanence

The Foundation has existed since 1981. Gifts given today will increase in their value many times over, but will also provide support for unforeseen community needs in the coming generations.
