Grants for Dental and Oral Health

Dental and oral healths are very important in every person. They are part of the personal hygiene. Toothbrush and toothpaste or even mouthwashes are not enough to maintain a healthy teeth and mouth. There is still a need to see a dentist even at least once a year. The hygiene for the oral and teeth are very important in order to prevent dental problems. Unfortunately, not all people have access to quality dental and oral care. There are many procedures involve in oral hygiene such as teeth and tongue cleaning, dental floss and so on. Good thing, there are organizations offering grants for dental and oral health and promotes proper oral hygiene. Most of the time, these grants are in the form of free dental services and targets the less privileged and underserved communities.

Delta Dental

The Delta Dental is a program run by the Oklahoma Oral Health Foundation. The objective of the program is to assist in the dental health as well as dental education in Oklahoma. The Delta Dental will fund programs and dental services promoting oral health. The main goals of the Delta Dental are to make it possible for the dental care to be accessible and the advancement of dental education as well as dental research. The program is open to non-profit organization and is initiating a project related to the field of dentistry and serving the state of Oklahoma. Care in Cleveland

The Care in Cleveland is a program that is sponsored by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act. This Federal grant will permit every child, youth and the adults in the Cleveland area to receive and get free as well as low cost dental and oral care. This will be given at the Cleveland’s MetroHealth Medical System.
