What is the Alma Taylor Foundation Grant?

The Alma Taylor Foundation sets its primary purposes in promoting economic development and growth in Decatur County, Indiana and Greensburg City; to help in the expansion of employment opportunities through the development of the economy; and in providing opportunities for its community development, art advancement, historic preservation and community improvement through economic development.

The Corporation is an exclusive non-profit charitable organization under the IRS code Section 501(c)(3) and Historic Downtown Greensburg is the area that it serves.

Who are eligible for the Alma Taylor Foundation Grants?

Any 501(c)(3) organization marketing their events in order to attract visitors, business and citizens to Downtown Greensburg qualify for the ATF event Grants.

The events must qualify to the following criteria:

  • The events should be designed to generate activity and interest on the Downtown Square located in Greensburg.
  • Each applicant must be able to keep track of the effectivity and impact of the event. This information must be included in the report for grant completion.
  • Higher priority is given to new events.

How to apply for the Alma Taylor Foundation Grants?

For an applicant to be considered for a grant they must submit their applications before the last Friday of a quarterly meeting. The Board of Directors of ATF hold their quarterly meeting on first Tuesday of January, April, August and December. In these meetings they vote on whom to award the event grants.
