The Melinda Gray Ardia Environmental Foundation is supporting curricula that are aimed for the empowerment. The Verizon Competitive Literacy Grant

The charitable arm of Verizon known as the Verizon Foundation is supporting the cause of quality education through the right resources as well as literacy programs. The foundation’s goal is to assist the youth and children in becoming educated citizens as they achieve their goals and then contribute to the benefit of their respective communities. Since the Verizon is a company known for high end technology, their grants typically are technology-based. One of their programs is the thinkfinity.org. This program is made to give assistance to teachers by providing free K up to 12 lessons that are web-based lessons.
