What is the aim of the Assistive Technology Grant?

To provide States with financial assistance that supports programs designed to maximize the ability of individuals of all ages with disabilities and their family members, guardians, advocates, and authorized representatives to obtain assistive technology devices and assistive technology services.

Who is Eligible to Apply for the Assistive Technology Grant?

States, including the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, and outlying areas may apply. Applicants are designated by Governors.

How and Where to Apply for the Assistive Technology Grant?

Unless otherwise directed in the Federal Register Announcement, applications should be submitted to the Department of Education, Application Control Center, 400 Maryland Avenue, SW., Washington, DC 20202.
