What is the aim of the Training and Technical Assistance Grants?

The Training and Technical Assistance Grants aim to provide training and technical assistance to national service programs supported by the Corporation for National Service, as well as to State Commissions or alternative entities.

Who are Eligible for the Training and Technical Assistance Grants?

Public agencies including Federal, State, and local agencies and other units of government, nonprofit organizations including groups serving youths, faith and community based organizations, service organizations, institutions of higher education, Indian tribes, and for-profit companies may apply for the Training and Technical Assistance Grants; State and Federal agencies and non-governmental organizations are eligible to compete for Training and Technical Assistance Cooperative Agreements. Funds designated for Training and Technical Assistance are awarded through a competitive process or are awarded to state commissions through a state formula allocation grant process.

States, District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, Tribes, Territories, national nonprofit organizations, Federal agencies, professional corps, and multi-State organizations will benefit.

How to Apply for the Training and Technical Assistance Grants?

Various records and forms may be required for first time applicants of the Training and Technical Assistance Grants, as well as copy of last audit may be requested. First time applicants must certify financial systems. Applicants are ecnouraged to contact the Corporation for application procedures.
