Scholarship Grants for Criminal Justice Majors

Students taking up criminal justice majors can have assistance as they pursue their degree. There are several scholarship grants for criminal justice majors.

North Carolina Criminal Justice Program

The Criminal Justice Program is offering scholarship grants to North Carolina resident undergraduate students majoring full time in criminal justice degrees. Ten students will receive this scholarship. This program is available every semester of the academic year. However, there are priorities in this program. The sons or daughters of sheriff as well as deputy sheriff and law enforcer killed in action are given the top priority. The next priority goes to sons and daughters of sheriffs and deputy sheriffs that are retired or deceased. Last is student taking up criminal justice student that are eligible based on the criteria needed by the program. The cash grant awarded through this scholarship program is $1,000 every semester. In other words, there are 20 recipients of this scholarship per academic year. To apply, students must get first the application form to his/her financial aid office of his/her school. Noble National Scholarship Grants

Irlet Anderson Scholarship Award

The Irlet Anderson Scholarship grant is for graduating high school students interested in taking up criminal justice or law enforcement majors. The cash grant that will be awarded is $3,000 and the deadline for the application is on May 5 every year. Charles L. Gittens Scholarship Award

The Charles L. Gittens Scholarship Award is another scholarship grant that is opened to the graduating high school students who will pursue a career in criminal justice and law enforcement majors. The amount of the cash grant awarded is up to $1,000. The deadline for application in this scholarship grant is on May 5 and several students can be awarded with this scholarship grant.
