Foundation for Child Development

The Foundation for Child Development or simply FCD is a private and national philanthropy foundation that is dedicated for the welfare of all families primarily in raising their children to be the best, educated, healthy, and productive for the society. The FCD is seeking the understanding of the children, especially the disadvantaged groups. The FCD is working in the Pre-kindergarten 3rd Education in which they support the restructure of the Pre-Kindergarten up to the Third Grade and making these into a very aligned and manageable first level public education for disadvantaged children residing in the U.S. The FCD is also supporting researches, development of policies, advocacies, and the strategic communications in relation to the work of FCD. The FCD is also awarding grants through its “New American Children grants” that focuses on stimulation of the basic and the applied research about the children who live in the low-income less privileged immigrant families. The grants awarded by the FCD average to about 14 recipients a year. Visit the FCD’s to get to know more about the grants (fcd-us.org).
