Franklin Furnace Fund for Performance Art Grants

The Jerome Foundation and the Lambent Foundation is supporting a grant program that will assist artists in producing major performance works in the State of New York. The Franklin Furnace Fund encourages artists around the globe to apply for the grant even if the performances must be held in New York. Full-time students are not eligible and the award decisions are determined by a board of artists that reviews each artist’s submitted proposals.

The grant program firmly believes that the grants should be awarded by fellow artists since it gives each artist an equal opportunity to get the grant. The grants that are awarded can range from $2.000 to $10.000.
