What is Arkansas Black Hall of Fame Foundation Grants?

The Arkansas Black Hall of Fame Foundation sponsors the grant program and it is administered by the Arkansas Community Foundation. The grants are awarded to the programs with purposes of serving African-Americans and the underserved populations in Arkansas. The amount of the grants range from $1,000 – $2,500 but may reach $5,000 in exceptional cases.

The projects must have a focus on the following:

  1. Education
  2. Health and Wellness
  3. Youth Development
  4. Small business development/economic development

Who are eligible for Arkansas Black Hall of Fame Foundation Grants?

501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations, schools, hospitals, government agencies and organizations with a definite charitable purpose are eligible to apply for the grants. All geographic areas of Arkansas are also eligible.

How to apply for Arkansas Black Hall of Fame Foundation Grants?

Applicants should apply online on the dates February 17 and April 15, 2011.
