Wetlands Reserve Program Restoration Assistance and Grants

The Natural Resources Conservation Service in Mississippi is sponsoring a grant to provide planning, design and implement restoration activities for its Wetlands Reserve Program and Emergency Watershed Protection-Floodplain Easement properties to maximize wildlife habitat in wetland systems, as well as provide water quality improvements, reduced soil erosion, reduced impacts of flooding and provide wildlife habitat opportunities for threatened and endangered species and is open to State governments, County governments, City or township governments, Special district governments, Native American tribal governments (Federally recognized)and individuals.
